Rotoscoping proved to be the most difficult and time consuming project but the most rewarding project. Figuring out the process and how to make it the best possible series of images was hard in itself but once I got the hang of it, it was easier, but still time consuming. Using the stylist was the only way I remained sane while doing this project and made it a more do-able project. The hardest part of the project for me was perfecting the light sabers and using the colors to my favor, hitting it at the right time and utilizing a gradient to make it realistic.
Exporting the video into iMovie was way more difficult than it should have been as the individual layers initially uploaded, then they were too short and then the colors didn't appear correctly so it took a few tries to be successful. Once all the pieces came together and all my hard work paid off, it was extremely rewarding and almost fun to do the project.
Showing my roommates the project after it was all done who participated in the filming of the video loved how the edits came out and it ended up being one of my best projects.
