Photo Restoration
For this project, we were to use photoshop and piece together a photograph that had significant physical damage to the subjects in the photo. Each image I brought in to do did not have enough damage so ultimately I found an image online that had significant damage. Using the clone stamp, patch, healing and smudge tools to restore the images, I struggled with seamlessly fixing the image. Although I was able to fix cracks and some coloring, I was unable to recreate the photo and make it look the absolute best it could be. This proved to be the most frustrating project as I wanted to do well and ultimately couldn't. The background of the image proved to be the hardest aspect of the project as I could not get it back to the quality it once was. I ended up creating my own background that did not enhance the image, if anything it took away some of the small details the image once had.
